The perfect session to remember how beautiful you looked and treasure your gorgeous bump.
 
These are usually best booked in for your last trimester, at around 7-8 months. It’s when your bump is large and lovely, but you’re not feeling too uncomfortable or worried about the possibility of your baby making an appearance!
 

You lead the session and we'll only do what you feel comfortable doing. I'm happy to include your partner and children in the session for some special family images.

The photoshoot

You’ll receive a session guide beforehand with details on how it will run and what to bring to make you and bump as comfortable as possible.

The session will take place at our cosy Edinburgh studio or outdoors if you'd prefer. It usually lasts around 1 hour.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • What is the ideal age for a newborn photoshoot?
    The ideal age for a newborn photoshoot is within the first 20 days of life. However, we can still capture beautiful images of older newborns.
  • When is the best time to book a newborn session?
    It's best to book your newborn session as early as possible. We recommend booking before or during your second trimester to ensure availability. We'll pencil in your due date, and once your baby arrives, please let us know so we can confirm your session date.
  • Can other siblings be photographed with baby?
    They sure can! There is nothing cuter than your older children cooing over their new baby brother or sister. I will normally do sibling shots at the start of the session so they are not waiting around too long and getting bored. If you are bringing older children it can be a good idea to ask your partner or other family member who may be coming along with you to take them for a wee wander while we concentrate on baby.
  • What is included in the private online gallery?
    After your photoshoot, we'll fully edit your images and provide you with access to a private online gallery. Here, you can view and download your photos at your convenience. The gallery also features a shop where you can select from a range of print and framing options.
  • How can I book a photoshoot?
    You can book a photoshoot by using our booking form. We will then contact you to discuss the type of photoshoot you want, your preferred dates, and finalise your booking. The session fee is due upon booking.
  • What are the payment options for my photoshoot?
    To secure your booking, a £65 session fee is required. We will discuss the available packages, and the remaining payment is due 48 hours before your session. We offer a variety of prints, frames, and other wall art pieces, which can be purchased after you have viewed and selected your photos.
